Alehound and Zelda's Foundation for Animals
We created Alehound Dog Treats as a homemade nutritious treat for our personal and rescue dogs. We had such a great response from the dogs, and the friends and adopters who tried our treats, that we expanded to offer them for dog-owners who were looking for an alternative to mass produced packaged biscuits.
We started selling Alehound treats at craft beer festivals and a local dog-friendly brewery in Los Angeles. Now they are available in several other locations across Southern California. Unlike other treat companies, 100% of the money raised with the sales of Alehound Dog Treats go directly to our 501c3 nonprofit pet rescue, Zelda's Foundation for Animals, where the funds help us save homeless pets off death row in high-kill shelters.

Alehound Dog Treats are hand made in a licensed commercial bakery and we are officially licensed by the State of California as a pet food manufacturer.
